I hope that you are doing well and staying safe during this unprecedented time.
I am writing to give an update regarding my health. Last winter I was treated for Leukemia at the City of Hope, in Duarte, California. While it has been a long journey, I am happy to report that I am home and doing well. Thank you for all the kind words of support that you’ve shared with me during my recovery.
I am planning to return to the practice of plastic surgery once the Covid-19 pandemic is over or there is a successful vaccine. I will follow up with more information soon.
I want to thank Mark Gaon, M.D. of Newport Beach, California and my former nurse injector, Gail Keir R.N. for taking such excellent care of the practice in my absence. Gail has recently moved to a new location in Lake Forest, California and she can be reached at 949-338-4212. I would also like to thank Michal Plechas, M.D. of Santa Ana with whom I have worked closely for many years. Among other plastic surgery skills, he has expertise in the use of lasers and non-surgical skin rejuvenation.
I recognize that there are many excellent plastic surgeons and healthcare providers in Orange County and I’m happy to forward medical records or reach out to any of them, on your behalf upon request. This includes communications with healthcare providers outside of the area for those of you who have relocated.
In the meantime, please feel free to reach out to me with any questions, concerns, or simply to say hello. I always love hearing from my patients.
The kindness and support I’ve received during this past year serves as a constant reminder that, even during these difficult times, there is so much for which to be thankful.
